HCL Infosystems promotes Alok Sahu As CFO; To Succeed Kapil KapurAlok Sahu, a chartered accountant by profession, is a finance professional who has over 25 years of experience in spearheading financial and accounting functions.

HCL Infosystems today stated its Chief Financial Officer Kapil Kapur has resigned from the company.

The company's Board of Directors has named Alok Sahu to succeed Kapur for the position of CFO with effect from June 1, 2021, a regulatory filing stated.

HCL Infosystems handles IT from A to Z. The company manufactures and distributes a wide array of technology products, including PCs, servers, data storage and networking equipment, printing and imaging systems, and software. It sells both its own lines and third-party products. HCL also provides services that include system integration, facilities management, and managed services. It markets to consumers in more than 15,000 towns across 664 districts in India. The company sells to enterprise clients in such industries as government, financial services, and education. HCL Infosystems' sister company, HCL Technologies, provides offshore IT services.

'we submit that Mr Kapil Kapur, CFO of the company has informed the company about his resignation from the said position with the company with effect from the closing hours of May 31, 2021 to pursue other opportunities & interests,' stated in a statement.

He has been allied with HCL Infosystems since 1995.
